Well, hello there

For awhile I have contemplated writing a blog. I have a million ideas and projects at any given time and no one place to store them. Except my brain. Which is filled with a million ideas and projects and all the minute details. Kinda like sushi. It's a jumble of things that might not make sense to a lot of people, but when you take a bite-wow! Tiny firecrackers go off in your brain and you can't wait to take another bite.

So...a blog was born. I am inspired to write about my previously mentioned projects and deas, but I also need a place to reflect, recharge, and at times vent. Here goes! Day one of my Captured Whims. Enjoy!

I have a wonderful husband, two hilarious kids (Bug and Cakes), and a crazy/happy/loving family. My close friends are few but the best I could ask for. And when I'm not pinning on Pinterest, cooking or planning a meal, or playing with my kids...there's always a whim I'm dreaming up for the next day.
